5th place in the
Federal Duck Stamp Contest
 In November of 2001 the annual Federal Ducks Stamp
Art Contest was held in Washington D.C at the Dept.
of the Interior. Out of approximately 260 entries nation
wide, Mark Bordignon tied for 5th place with his painting
of a Drake Black Scoter. The federal duck stamp is
known in the wildlife art world to be one of the highest

Iowa 2001 Habitat Stamp
Print
For the second year in a row Greg Bordignon has
been chosen to design Iowa's Habitat Stamp Print.
His painting entitled "Winter Cover" depicts and image
of ringneck pheasants around an old, snow covered
Farmall Model M tractor. Greg's painting is a typical
scene of Iowa and the pheasant country that it contains. | 
Iowa 2002 Habitat Stamp Print "Afternoon Visitors" is Iowa's 2002 Habitat Stamp Print
Commissioned by the Iowa Dept. of Natural Resources,
it depicts a bedded whitetail buck and two wild turkeys
on the back of a winter farm pasture

Pheasant Forever
Print of the Year for Iowa
On January 12, 2001 Pheasants Forever held their annual State Art Competion.
Among a field of 15 entries Mark Bordignon's rendering of a Whitetail deer on
a frosty winter morning captured First Place. This is the first Pheasants Forever
win for Mark. In 1995 Mark and Greg took first and second places in the Iowa Ducks
Unlimited state art competition. In the same year the brothers took first and third
place in Pheasants Forever state contest where Greg took best of show for the
first of what would be 4 times to come.
